Iron Ladies

Florida Premiere

Iron Ladies tells the story of how an international network of young Jewish women, at the height of the Cold War, defied the Soviet Union to support persecuted "Refusenik" Jews—and emerged victorious. This captivating film highlights the extraordinary activism and empowerment of ordinary housewives and mothers from London, Dublin, and beyond, who, despite having no political power or experience, rallied to the cause. Now in their eighties, these remarkable women share their untold stories on film, joined by an incredible cast of contributors including former Refuseniks Natan Sharansky and Ephraim Kholmyansky, Shmuel Shenhar, former Deputy Director of Nativ, and former KGB agent Alexander Vassiliev.
