Resisting one-sided and simplistic historical interpretations, documentarians Joseph Dorman and Oren Rudavsky take a multifaceted approach to a polarizing subject. Politicians, academics, and activists of various generations offer candid commentary juxtaposed against a cornucopia of exceptional archival footage.
