A unique adventure unfolds as two friends, Arnost Lustig and Jan Wiener, take a risky road trip into their past. Together, the two survivors of Hitler's invasion of Czechoslovakia who now live in America revisit scenes of romance, humor, and narrow escapes from death in Terezin, a labor camp where Arnost Lustig was interned for five years and Jan's mother was murdered.
