Security

The Miami Jewish Film Festival (MJFF) places the highest priority on ensuring a safe environment for the enjoyment of this year's film lineup. To enhance safety, we are working closely with the Greater Miami Jewish Federation which has guided our protocols. There will be increased security throughout the Festival, and respective law enforcement agencies have been notified and a request to provide frequent patrols has been made.

In addition, there will be bag checks and wanding. In light of these security measures, we kindly request that attendees minimize the items they bring and discourage bringing large bags or backpacks. If you do bring a bag, please be aware that it will be subject to inspection before entry.

For everyone's safety, all patrons should be prepared to present a government-issued ID before entering venues; failure to do so may result in denied entry, as MJFF reserves the right to deny access.

Finally, please be reminded that our Jewish venues (the Michael-Ann Russell JCC, Miami Beach JCC, and Temple Beth Am, as well as O Cinema South Beach, located within a government building) already have enhanced security.

We are excited about sharing America's largest Jewish film festival with you and recommend allocating extra time for these security procedures when planning your journey. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to sharing the Festival with you.
