Yom HaShoah Virtual Program
This year, even more than ever, we are honored to mark Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) and keep the memories alive of our Survivors and their stories, while we all stay at home and try to mitigate the risks of COVID-19 to our loved ones. In an effort to commemorate Yom HaShoah together, we are proudly partnering with the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach, the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, and the Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education to launch a virtual program featuring a specially curated selection of acclaimed Holocaust-themed movies that will be available to stream online for free.
It is now more important than ever to provide the lessons of the Holocaust, not only because this year is the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz and the end of World War II, but because the Holocaust teaches us so much about how to treat one another and how we behave as humans in the face of adversity.
Each of the eight films featured in this virtual program have previously premiered at the Miami Jewish Film Festival and will be available to watch online starting Sunday, April 19 until Monday, April 20. You can find the complete list of films that will be presented in the Yom HaShoah virtual program below:
